MA in Higher Education Leadership
My hometown is Houston, Texas. Before coming to University of San Diego, I attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. In the in-between years I worked as a supply chain analyst for a home security company and then as a traveling consultant for Chi Psi Fraternity out of Nashville, Tennessee.
Tell us about any internships, graduate assistantships, student teaching, practicum or fieldwork you have done through SOLES. Where did you work, what did you do, and how did it impact you?
I work in the Office of Ethical Development and Restorative Practice as the graduate assistant for student conduct. Additionally, I assist the Fraternity/Sorority Life office at California State University San Marcos.
What are your plans for after graduation? What is your dream job?
My plans are constantly shifting as SOLES faculty and my SASC supervisor expose me to different opportunities in the world of higher education. I hope to find a position within the realm of student conduct somewhere on the West coast.
Is there anything specific you would like to share with prospective students?
Be sure to open yourself up to as many new experiences as you can. This is your time to learn and make mistakes so don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone.
