Renée Lee '15
MA Leadership Studies
Renée Lee ’15 is the student affairs manager at University of California, San Diego Summer Session. In this role, she manages student services for over 22,000 enrollments and 10,000 students in the summer term. Renée is involved in academic program development, management and strategic initiatives. She also represents the University of California, San Diego at the Association of University Summer Sessions.
As a student in the MA in Leadership Studies program, she served as a graduate intern for Alumni Relations at the University of San Diego. Her internship projects include the university's Wine Classic, Senior Class Legacy and Torero Store Opening for Alumni. For her capstone project, she completed a mixed-method applied research on undergraduate students’ enrollment and satisfaction in the summer term.
Renée earned her BA in International Studies - Economics from the University of California, San Diego. During her undergraduate studies, she spent her summers abroad in London and Hong Kong for public relations and management internships. She began her professional career in business affairs at University of California, San Diego prior to her studies at SOLES.
Renée is passionate about empowering others to develop their leadership potential. She believes in building a foundation of ethics, cultural intelligence and self-awareness in the exercise of leadership.
