Alumni Outcomes

Graduates of this program are able to:

• Apply pedagogical principles of peace education.
• Integrate and apply theory and practice in both local and international peace education programs.
• Analyze the causes of conflict and the role of educational and cultural practices in promoting peace or violence.
• Demonstrate conflict analysis, facilitation, dialogue and mediation skills (as ways of conflict resolution and transformation).

Graduates may go on to use these skills in their own classrooms as teachers, or in mediation or conflict resolution in other settings.
