Alumni Outcomes

Research has demonstrated that a student who has chosen to become a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) have greater success in the nonprofit sector.  A 2014 study by LinkedIn found that students with a CNP credential are seven times more likely to reach the level of director or a higher position at a nonprofit organization than a non-CNP.

The NLA offers the only national nonprofit management leadership credential developed with and recognized by the nonprofit sector. Our students complete rigorous, comprehensive academic and experiential requirements meeting industry standards and preparing them for nonprofit sector careers. With the National Certification in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and the corresponding Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) designation, students are fully prepared to succeed in any career in the nonprofit sector.
