Most SOLES graduate programs do not require any specific pre-requisite coursework. Those that do have pre-requisite requirements are listed below.
Please note that students who are unable to complete these pre-requisites prior to beginning their program may do so in their first semester of enrollment at SOLES.
Master of Arts in Counseling, specialization in School Counseling with Pupil Personnel Services Credential
This program requires a pre-requisite course in educational psychology focused on K-12 learning. Students who are unsure of whether a course they have selected will satisfy the requirement should email the course syllabus to firstname.lastname@example.org for evaluation.
Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy
This program requires three pre-requisite courses:
- Human or Life Span Development
- Counseling or Personality Theories
- Research Methods
