Overview

The graduate certificate in Inclusive Education consists of 12 graduate units in the School of Leadership and Education Sciences. Certificate candidates will learn to go beyond good intentions and confidently lead meaningful change in your classroom and school through established theory, research, and tools. The program includes courses on International Education Policy related to Disability, Teaching Students on the Autism Spectrum, Collaborating in an Inclusive Environment, and Responding to the Needs of Diverse Learners. All these courses are grounded in disability studies theory. If students wish to continue their learning, all of these courses can be articulated with the Masters of Education online program.

How long will the program take me?

You may choose to start the program in either the spring or summer term and also choose to complete within two semesters or at a modified pace and complete over the course of a year. 

How many units are included?

The certificate consists of 15 units.

When are classes scheduled?

Our program will include two summer term courses offered at our satellite campus in Madrid, Spain with the other two offered fully online in the fall and spring. 

 Is this program offered online?

Two of the four classes will be offered online, with the other two classes offered at our satellite campus in Madrid, Spain.
