Welcome to the Student Leadership and Involvement Center, affectionately known as the SLIC! If you are interested in getting involved, making meaningful connections, and learning about leadership, this is the place for you!
The SLIC oversees the areas of student activities, leadership development, student organizations, Welcome Week, and Fraternity and Sorority Life. Through the SLIC, you can get connected to over 140 Student Organizations, Associated Students, Torero Program Board, Fraternity and Sorority Life. The SLIC also provides resources for event planning and leadership trainings on how to better lead a group and affect change. Areas such as the Creative Zone and Student Involvement and Information Desk can help with marketing, team building, event planning support and involvement opportunities. Finally, for all Faculty/Staff/Administrator advisors, use the SLIC's Advisor resources to help enhance and enrich the student leader experience.

Why: Because social justice and sustainability are at the core of Ghana right now. Students will learn from community experiences, volunteering, visits to E-waste sites, visit to Cape Coast. Cost: $3200

Recognizing that learning exists throughout involvement opportunities, the Student Leadership and Involvement Center (SLIC) has established Student Learning Objectives (SLOs). SLOs are used to facilitate student learning and development, which will be accomplished through a variety of programs and services offered through the SLIC.
The following SLOs are intended to represent opportunities for student learning and growth following their engagement and experiences.
