Summary: At approximately 0815 Public Safety observed an unattended parked vehicle with its trunk open. Upon investigation the vehicle was determined to belong to a resident student. The student was contacted and stated that he had parked his vehicle approximately 1600 on 5/3/2007 and that the vehicle was secured at that time. Upon further investigation the passenger’s side window was broken, there were pry marks above the window and the vehicle’s center consol was broken. The stereo faceplate was also found on the passenger’s seat. The individual also filed a report with SDPD.
