Location: ALCALA VISTAS AREA
Summary: At approximately 0602 Public Safety responded to a report of a car that was broken into between 2000 on 2/28/06 and 0500 on 03/01/06. Upon investigation the driver side door was found ajar and both door locks were damaged. The alarm system on the car had previously been disabled due to electrical problems. Two stereo speakers and a bottle of cologne were missing from the vehicle.

Summary: At approximately 1919 Public Safety responded to a report of a resident student allegedly pointing a gun at another student through a window. Upon investigation the resident was found not to be in possession of a gun or other weapon. The resident’s room was searched for weapons and no weapons were found in the room. Upon further investigation, the resident student did admit to previously having an airsoft gun on campus but indicated that he had removed it once he found out it was not allowed on campus.

Summary: At approximately 1442 Public Safety responded to three individuals skateboarding on campus stairways. Upon investigation the individuals were advised of the University skateboarding policy and complied. A short time later the individuals were again seen skateboarding on the stairways, but fled the area upon officer arrival.

Summary: Public Safety received a report that sometime between 03-11-06 to 03-19-06, an unknown vehicle struck and damaged a 2004 Cadillac Escalade HX (cream color) while the vehicle was parked in the Mission’s Parking structure. Summary: Public Safety responded to an incident involving a resident student who allegedly damaged/vandalized university property in a resident apartment. Damage included a broken Halogen lamp with glass scattered in the carpet, cuts and slashes from a knife in the fabric of the couch, overstuffed chair and broken wooded slats on the living room coffee table.

Summary: Public Safety responded to a report of a stolen green 2001 John Deer gas powered golf cart. The theft is believed to have occurred between 2:30 p.m. on 03-18-06 and 7:30 a.m. on 03-20-06. The golf cart is believed to have been stolen from where it was left parked on the north side of Jenny Craig Pavilion sidewalk. Summary: A bicycle was reported stolen from the bicycle rack located in front of Manchester Village, near the main lobby entrance. The bicycle is a Green Trek, 26-inch Mountain Bike. The student indicated that his bicycle was secured in the bike rack in front of the main lobby of Manchester Village on 03-21-06 and that the bicycle was locked to the rack with a chain type cord and combination lock. On 03-22-06, at about 9:30 p.m. the student noticed that his bicycle was missing.
