Summary: At approximately 2220 Public Safety was conducting a routine traffic stop on a vehicle that had run a stop sign. During the traffic stop Public Safety discovered ammunition in the vehicle. The ammunition consisted of fourteen shotgun shells and one 30-06 rifle cartridge. The driver of the vehicle indicated that the ammunition was left over from a recent hunting trip. The ammunition was confiscated and the owner of the vehicle, a commuter student, was referred to Student Affairs for disciplinary action.

The driver was identified as a resident student and the two passengers were identified as non-students. Summary: At approximately 1851 Public Safety stopped a vehicle entering campus with no valid permit. Upon investigation the driver of the vehicle was found to be a non-student and the passenger was found to be a resident student. Due to a strong smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle both individuals were evaluated to determine if the individuals could safely care for themselves.
