San Buenaventura and the San Antonio de Padua (SAPs) apartments together represent the Missions Apartments, the sophomore and upper class options for living in the Valley. Boasting the latest amenities in residential life, the 92,300 square-foot hall features apartments with wireless Internet access, ceiling fans, and a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The building has many perks to offer residents. These include large bedrooms, living rooms, and very large bathrooms. Each of the building's four floors has a study room. There are also three multipurpose rooms – two for seminars, meetings or social gatherings and one fully equipped entertainment room with plasma TV, air hockey table and pool table. Additionally, there are elevators and even a putting green! The residence hall houses 88 single bedrooms, 76 double bedrooms, and 12 apartments for USD live-in staff.

Missions Cafe and Fitness Center
This state-of-the-art 8,515 square foot, wellness-focused facility is located in the heart of Missions housing. Designed to strengthen the minds, bodies and spirits of students, the fitness center features a yoga/pilates exercise room, cardio equipment, strength training and more. The Missions Cafe is a full-service coffee/juice bar and sandwich shop featuring an assortment of healthy food choice and late night snack options including fresh organic foods such as sandwiches, salads, plus frozen yogurt.
Missions Housing Desk Services
The Mission Crossroads Desk is the center of activity for the Mission Housing area. The front desk staff encodes room key cards, takes messages, gives information, provides vacuums and other sundries for residents. If you need to mail any items, outgoing mail is picked up twice a day Monday through Friday. You can also check out foosball items to use in the San Buenaventura Lounge. San Buenaventura Laundry Facilities
The Laundry facilities are on the first floor. The cost for a load of laundry in the washer is $1.25 and dryers are $.50. You need to purchase a laundry card for $2.00 and you can replenish your money on the card in $5, $10, and $20. There is a machine to do this in the laundry room (credit card only) and in Missions Crossroads (cash). The laundry card machine does not take $1.00 bills.
Mission Housing RA Office
The Resident Assistant Office, in Crossroads, is where you can find Resident Assistants working on programming efforts and performing their on-duty hours. The RA office is located at the Mission Crossroads Desk. You may contact the RAs at (619) 260-4625.
Mission Housing Community Directors Offices
Brandon McCreary is the Community Director for the Missions Apartments Community, including the San Antonio de Padua (2nd and 3rd floors) and San Buenaventura Apartments. He was born and raised in Pasadena, CA, graduated from USD in 2010 with a Business Administration degree, and then again in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies. Brandon loves working in the Valley, and looks forward to helping upper class residents feel connected to USD and truly enjoy their experience at one of the top universities in the nation! In his free time, Brandon enjoys taking advantage of the weather and outdoor opportunities San Diego provides, while making sure to stay up-to-date on everything happening in the world of sports. He encourages all students to follow USD’s elite Athletics program, and to get involved in the many student clubs and organizations on campus.

Resident Minister Amy Blythe
Amy Blythe is a Resident Minister in San Buenaventura 340. She graduated from Allegheny College in her home state of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Early American History. After spending time in service with Catholic Volunteer Network in Washington, D.C., she came to USD to begin her Master's Degree in Higher Education Leadership and work with the University Ministry team. This year, Amy's goals are to become a stronger, more faithful follower of Christ as she encourages others to do the same...and to learn to surf!She loves cooking, reading, playing games, and making friends so don't hesitate to say hello in person or by email at email@example.com.
