San Buenaventura Apartments
Preparing for Life after College UM RLC for seniors is located in the San Buenaventura Apartments. The theme of Preparing for Life after College is exploring vocation and simple living. Members of Life after College will be provided multiple opportunities to discuss how to live a life of meaning, purpose, and passion.
Boasting the latest amenities in residential life, the new 92,300 square-foot hall features apartments with wireless Internet access, ceiling fans, and a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The building has many perks to offer residents. These include large bedrooms, living rooms, and very large bathrooms. Each of the building's four floors has a study room. There are also three multipurpose rooms – two for seminars, meetings or social gatherings and one fully equipped entertainment room with plasma TV, air hockey table and pool table. Additionally, there are elevators and even a putting green! The residence hall houses 88 single bedrooms, 76 double bedrooms, and 12 apartments for USD live-in staff and faculty.

Missions Cafe and Fitness Center
This state-of-the-art 8,515 square foot, wellness-focused facility is located in the heart of Missions housing. Designed to strengthen the minds, bodies and spirits of students, the fitness center features a yoga/pilates exercise room, cardio equipment, strength training and more. The Missions Cafe is a full-service coffee/juice bar and sandwich shop featuring an assortment of healthy food choice and late night snack options including fresh organic foods such as sandwiches, salads, plus frozen yogurt.
Missions Housing Desk Services
The Mission Crossroads Desk is the center of activity for the Mission Housing area. The front desk staff encodes room key cards, takes messages, gives information, provides vacuums and other sundries for residents. If you need to mail any items, outgoing mail is picked up twice a day Monday through Friday. You can also check out foosball items to use in the San Buenaventura Lounge. You can reach the Crossroads Front Desk at extension 4625.

San Buenaventura Laundry Facilities
The Laundry facilities are on the first floor. The cost for a load of laundry in the washer is $1.25 and dryers are $.50. You need to purchase a laundry card for $2.00 and you can replenish your money on the card in $5, $10, and $20. Increments. The laundry card machine does not take $1.00 bills.
Mission Housing RA Office
The Resident Assistant Office, in Crossroads, is where you can find Resident Assistants working on programming efforts and performing their on-duty hours. The RA office is located at the Mission Crossroads Desk. You may contact the RAs at X4625.
Mission Housing Community Directors Offices
Christy Clinton is the Community Director for the Missions A Community, including the Suites and San Buenaventura halls. She is a California girl who graduated from the University of Redlands with a double major in English Literature and Liberal Studies with goals to become an educator. She believes that every person has the capability to learn and enjoys supporting students through their college experience. Christy graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, IN with her Masters of Arts in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education. In her free time she enjoys riding her bike in Mission Beach, volunteering at the County of San Diego Animal Shelter as a dog walker, and volunteering as a child literacy advocate with the San Diego Department of Education. She is passionate about helping students get involved in campus activities. Outside of work, Christy remains active in her sorority, plays softball and keeps in touch with her college advisors.
Christy's office is located in Mission Crossroads 235. Her office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, or by appointment. Like many other staff across campus, Christy has other commitments during the day and may not be in her office. Mission Apartments Resident Minister: Kerry Rogers
Kerry Rogers is a Resident Minister in Missions Apartments (San Buen 240). She graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2014 with a BA in English. She spent the past year living in San Diego as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps working with San Diego Youth Services. In addition to being a Resident Minister, she currently works full time for San Diego Youth Services as a Prevention Specialist.
Kerry is so excited to become part of the University of San Diego community, to get to know students and be a resource for them and to learn from them, and to work with RAs to build community for residents.
