2009 Summer Housing

Students planning to attend one or more of the Summer Sessions at the University of San Diego may apply for campus housing by completing the USD Summer Sessions Housing Reservation Form and Contract. Since housing is limited, we encourage you to submit your application form and deposit early. Assuming room availability, this holds your space until the first day of class, by which time full payment of the Room Fee and Damage Deposit must be received by the Student Accounts Office.

A $100.00 Damage and Cleaning Deposit is required from all summer residents except academic year USD residents who already have a $100.00 Damage Deposit on file.

Check-In Procedure
Report to the Mission Crossroads desk (on the upper level of Mission Crossroads) for check-in and room assignment. Keys will be issued with the room fee payment receipt after 12:00 noon one day prior to the start of the session . Early arrivals cannot be accommodated because of the limited spaces and varying sessions of Summer School.

Note: All Summer Sessions residents must check out of their residence hall rooms by 8:00 p.m. on the day of their final exam.

Additional Information
Although university residence halls are equipped with basic furniture, you will need to provide your own blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, and desk lamps.

Room Rates
Room rates in the Valley Apartments are based on how many people are occupying a bedroom, not an apartment. One person in a bedroom is a single rate. Two or more residents in a bedroom is a multiple occupancy. For example, a two bedroom apartment in the University Terrace Apartments could have three residents; one in a bedroom paying a single rate and two in the other bedroom paying the multiple rate. All residents would share a living room, kitchen, and ding area.
