You must clean your room before you leave
Carpets, doors, windows, bed, desk, and bathrooms must be cleaned. Refrigerators should be emptied and set to the lowest setting. Any holiday decorations must be removed. Any decorations not removed will result in a cleaning charge on your Damage and Cleaning Deposit.

Take all your valuables home with you
If you must leave anything, place it in a safe location. The University cannot accept responsibility for anything left in your room, even if it is locked.

Unplug all electrical appliances to lower your electrical bill
Electricity may be turned off in some areas for maintenance purposes.
