IntersessionOnly residents taking classes or working a minimum of 20 hours per week are eligible to remain on campus during Intersession unless they live in Manchester Village, University Terrace, or the Presidio Terrace Apartments. Classes at a university or college other than USD are permitted. Please know that Intersession rooms will be the same as the room one has for the fall and spring semesters. Full academic year residents of Manchester Village, University Terrace and the Presidio Terrace Apartments are not subject to the Intersession housing charges. However, residents of these halls areas should notify their Resident Staff of their occupancy dates during Christmas break and Intersession. If you are not returning for the spring semester you are expected to check out of Manchester Village, the UTAs, or the PTAs, no later than noon on December 23rd 2009. Accommodations Intersession Check In will be on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at noon. All on-campus returning Fall 09 residents may return to their rooms for the start of spring semester on 12:00 noon on Friday, January 22th 2010. There will be no additional charge to Intersession on-campus students for these extra days. Students not returning for the Spring semester must check out by 8 pm of date of their last final. Bring to the Residential Life Office verification of classes (either from USD or another college) that you will be taking over Intersession, OR, a letter from your employer stating that you will be working for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Please have the letter on company letterhead. Intersession Rate The cost of staying for Intersession is $400. This Intersession housing fee will be automatically assessed to your student account. Intersession Deadline Everyone must fill out the online application and submit the letter verification of classes/employment by noon Friday, December 4th to be eligible for Intersession housing.
