Television Cable Update
Based on student input, Residential Life is fully examining the interest and effectiveness of providing full cable service in our Residence Halls. For the 2015 – 2016 academic year, Residential Life has invested the cost savings from the removal of cable television and doubled the bandwidth for Internet on campus.
Also, know that you will still have access to 16 HD channels (much higher quality than previous cable we received) through the USD campus cable TV infrastructure. Please refer to the Res Life – USD Campus Cable Guide for additional information.
Living on campus is a great opportunity but please consider pursuing Renter's Insurance or asking your parents about their home owner's insurance. Residential Life does not exclusively promote a particular provider but there is important information about your housing agreement and liability considerations.
