Residential Learning Communities (RLCs) For Upperclass/Transfer Students

UNIVERSITY MINISTRY RLC

The University Ministry Residence Learning Community (UM RLC) offers students the opportunity to live together in an intentional faith community. The UM RLC is focused on spirituality, community, and service. Those who live in this community will receive the encouragement and support of others committed to growing in their relationship with God and with one another. Upper Class University Ministry RLCs will be located in the Alcala Vista Apartments, Manchester Village and the UTAs.

HONORS RLC

This RLC offers students in the Honors Program an opportunity to promote academic success while sharing with one another their love of life, learning, and the world. Residents have the opportunity to invite faculty, staff and outside speakers into the residence hall. The Upperclass RLC will be located in the Alcala Vista Apartments.

SOCIAL CHANGE RLC

"Service is the rent we pay for living." - Marion Wright Edelman

Students with an interest in issues of social justice will find the Social Change RLC the perfect opportunity to build upon the knowledge, awareness and skills that they already possess. The Social Change RLC will engage with the topics of diversity, inclusion, community organizing, conflict management and program development. This program is a great opportunity to interact with peers who have a similar interest and become involved with the Center for Community Service Learning. This RLC will be located in the Alcala Vista Apartments.
