Official Transcript requests must be mailed with payment or made in person at the One Stop Student Center, University Center Room 126.
Please note that if you attend(ed) the USD Law School, Paralegal Program, or Continuing Education Program, you must contact those offices directly.
You may request official or unofficial copies of your transcript. A signature must accompany any transcript request. You can obtain an official copy of your transcripts by doing one of the following:
- Official Transcript Request Form Undergraduate and Graduate [PDF 43 KB]
- Official Transcript Request Form Continuing Education
- Request the official transcript(s) in person by first going to One Stop Student Center in University Center Room 126 and filling out the Transcript Request form. Their hours are M-F 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The cost of trancripts are $ 5.00 per copy. If you wish to pick them up personally, they can be ready in 3-4 working days. It is three to four working days from the day they receive the form. Make sure you bring a picture ID with you when the transcripts are picked up.
- Mail in a request for official transcripts. Please note that the cost of a transcript is $5.00 per copy. Make sure the following is included in your request:
- Full Name (as it appears/appeared while in attendance)
- Dates of Attendance (approximate dates are acceptable)
- Number of transcripts to be mailed
- Address(es) of where transcripts are to be mailed
- Your signature (transcripts will not be sent without your signature)
- Send a check or money order made payable to: UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO
- Please allow 3 to 4 business days to process your request

- Note: If you are currently enrolled, you may now request your official transcript online. Please login to my.sandiego.edu, click on One Stop Services tab, and look for "Request official transcript" under Academic Records Tool column.
The turnaround time for these transcripts is 7-10 working days. We do not have a rush service; however, you can FedEx or Priority mail us the request along with a pre-paid FedEx or Priority envelope and we will mail the transcript(s) directly in the envelope provided.
You can receive an unofficial copy of your transcripts by doing one of the following:
- Obtain an unofficial transcript(s) by coming in person to One Stop Student Center and showing us a picture ID. There is no fee for unofficial copies.
- Note: If you are currently enrolled, you may now print out your unofficial transcript. Please login to my.sandiego.edu, click on One Stop Services tab, and look for "unofficial transcript" under Academic Records Tool column.
- Fax us a request. Our fax number is (619) 260-4649. Make sure your request includes the following:
- Full Name (as it appears/appeared while in attendance)
- Dates of Attendance (approximate dates are acceptable)
- Number of transcripts to be mailed
- Address(es) of where transcripts are to be mailed
- Your signature (transcripts will not be sent without your signature)
Please note that these requests are processed in the order in which they are received and may take 2-3 working days to be sent to you. You may also pick up your transcripts in person at the One Stop Student Center, University Center Room 126.
