FERPA Authorization

Students may grant the University permission to release information about their records to a third party (including parents, step-parents, etc.) by completing the FERPA Authorization online. Please notice, you must complete a separate entry for each parent, family member, or other individual to whom you wish to grant access to information regarding your student records.

If you have a MySanDiego account

You may login to the portal and click on the FERPA page, under the Torero Hub tab. 

Note: Please complete the Profile and Authorization tabs for each authorized user. View detailed instructions.

If you don't have a MySanDiego account

Please print the Student Information Release Authorization [pdf 128 KB] form. This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have it installed, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website.
