FeatureStories

Right Here, Right Now

Right Here, Right Now

Over Spring Break 2011, a group of students went to New Orleans. Their journey wasn't about taking a vacation from their education, but rather, deepening it. Community Service-Learning staff led the students on this life-changing, immersive trip. The resonance for participants is no accident: over the past 25 years, leadership has been key, ranging from founder and inaugural director Judy Rauner to former director Elaine Elliott to current head Chris Nayve.
