She has experience working in various higher education and editorial settings, including San Francisco State University and Academy of Art University. With a passion for writing and a keen understanding of public affairs, Machleit assists with the maintenance of the university's websites, approvals of university news and events, and writing articles for Inside USD and USD Magazine. She is also responsible for content management and web maintenance on various USD websites, including the USD homepage, Giving and the USD News Center.
