Toreros Advance to WNIT's Sweet 16

Senior Morgan Woodrow scored a game-high 27 points and classmate Dominique Conners added 23 points as the University of San Diego women's basketball team beat Pacific 83-75 in the second round of the Women's NIT on Sunday at Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The victory moved the Toreros (24-8) into the tournament's round of 16. They'll play at Texas Tech on Thursday. USD had never won a postseason game prior to this season. (Full Story)
