| Message | Dear Torero: Now that the region’s unprecedented Blackout is behind us, we wanted to let you know that classes will resume as scheduled on Monday, September 12. But please be advised that the campus will reopen tomorrow morning, September 10 for all previously scheduled campus activities. As a result of today’s campus closure, we have extended several important fall deadlines to Tuesday, September 13:
While many offices will remain closed today, dining services is fully operational, and Residential Life staff are available to offer students their full support. USD’s Copley Library is open and will maintain regular business hours throughout the weekend. Whether or not you are residential students, we encourage you to take part in any number of this weekend’s campus activities. Kick-off the weekend by attending tonight’s Men’s Soccer game which begins at 7pm in Walter E. Zable Field in Torero Stadium. The Torero Football team will host their first home game of the season against Western New Mexico University on Saturday at 6pm in Torero Stadium. On Sunday, students are invited to attend any of the special events planned in remembrance of 9/11. For a complete list of all weekend activities, visit the Torero Life web site. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend. |
