O’CONNELL SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE ARTS AT USD Lake Zurich Golf Club is a private golf course designed and built by the Foulis Brothers, from St. Andrews, Scotland, (Robert, James, Dave, John and Simpson) in 1895. James Foulis won the U.S. Open in 1896 at Shinnecock Hills. Currently membership is limited to 32 equity partners.Previousmembers included Daniel Burnham (architect), Leo Burnett (advertising) and Chester Gould (Dick Tracy). A once in a lifetime experience to benefit the scholarship.
