Emily Edmonds-Poli Becomes Interim Director of the Latin American Studies Program


Emily Edmonds-Poli, Associate Professor of Political Science, will assume the role of Interim Program Director while Dr. Alejandro Meter is on sabbatical for the next academic year.

Professor Edmonds is one of the original members of the Program in Latin American Studies Executive Committee. An expert on Mexican politics, Dr. Edmonds-Poli teaches classes on international relations and Latin American politics. Her research focuses on local and state level politics in Mexico, as well as decentralization and democratization in Latin America.
