Infiltrating the Indie Film Circuit

Communications Studies Associate Professor Eric Pierson is on the road this summer to promote the documentary "Infiltrating Hollywood: The Rise and Fall of the Spook who Sat by the Door."

He appears in the film which won the Saatchi & Saatchi "Nothing is Impossible" Producer's Award at the 9th Annual Run & Shoot Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival. It will also be screened at the Black Harvest International Festival.

Eric Pierson is an associate professor of Communication Studies at the University of San Diego. His long-range projects include a comprehensive study of film imagery of the 1970s and a teaching guide for media literacy.
