An upcoming event on the USD campus explores the intersection of literature and science: the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Pacific Division conference includes a symposium called "New Languages for New Realities: Literature, Poetry, and Hypertext." Presenters will share information on the way developments in science and technology are influencing how we read and write fiction, poetry, and literary criticism. All registered conference participants are welcome.

While the public lectures are free, workshops and symposia require advance registration and a fee. Discounted rates are available for K-12 teachers and students. Click here for registration and other information.
