Associate Professor David Shirk Reports on Drug War in Mexico
Wednesday, March 2, 2011
David Shirk, associate proffessor of political science and director of the Trans-Border Institute, released a Council on Foreign Relations (CRF) report that examines the current drug war in Mexico. The CFR special report, which is authored by Shirk, outlines the dynamics of Mexico’s recent security crisis and argues for greater U.S. support to address this shared challenge.
The report comes just in time for Mexico President Calderon's visit to Washington, D.C., this week. Click here to read the full CFR report.
