Drop Shadow

Do you want to meet new friends before orientation begins? Would you like to start school feeling more confident and prepared? How about joining us before school starts on a trip of a lifetime? We invite you to start your USD career off right by participating in a Pre-O Adventure trip!

Pre-O Adventure is an optional program that helps ease the transition to USD by giving small groups of incoming students a chance to connect with amazing student leaders, meet new friends and have a better understanding of what to expect with college life at USD.

This year marks the 24th year that Outdoor Adventures(OA) has offered Pre-O Adventure trips. We are expanding to eight trips to six locations incorporating a variety of outdoor activities for 2014. From the mild to the wild, these OA trips are as adventurous as you are.

Pre-O Adventure trips are designed for participants with little or no outdoor experience, but there are some unique and challenging trips for the more seasoned adventurer. Scholarships are available to students receiving significant need-based financial aid.

We are excited to welcome you to USD and encourage you to learn more about the awesome trips planned for Pre-O Adventure 2014!

Believe, Belong, Become
August 27 – 29, 2014

On this retreat in the beautiful Palomar Mountains, you’ll find a supportive community waiting to welcome you with open arms.  Student leaders will share about their experiences at USD, and there will be time to make new friends and create lasting connections.  You can expect time in small groups, talks from upperclassmen, and lots of fun.  You’ll have the option to hike, swim or join in a talent show, while growing in your faith and exploring your spirituality. Registration begins at 9 a.m. on June 13.  For information or to register, go to www.sandiego.edu/um.
