Dr. Rodney G. Peffer (University of Arizona, 1986) is professor of philosophy. His main areas of interest are social and political philosophy (especially contemporary theories of social justice and human rights) and ethics (including environmental ethics and the ethics of war and peace). He regularly teaches Social and Political Philosophy, Environmental Ethics, Ethics of War and Peace, and Philosophy of Art. Dr. Peffer is also a published poet and a percussionist who plays with avant garde jazz and electronic musicians.
