Fire Relief in Southern California

  • Food and Assistance at Casa Familiar in San Ysidro / Donations needed now

Casa Familiar Community Center is open to serve those impacted by the fires in South Bay. Bilingual (Spanish/English) volunteers are available to answer questions. The facility may accommodate and provide shelter for displaced families and individuals in need. Bottled water, blankets, food and first aid kits are available on a first come first serve basis for fire evacuees.

Donations needed now: diapers, gallon/bottled water, blankets, cots, canned food/sealed snacks, paper cups/plates, toothbrushes, flashlights/ batteries, small kids toys.

The devastation from the 2007 wildfires has affected many San Diegans. Cox San Diego wants to ensure that customers impacted by the fires can continue to communicate with their friends and family. Therefore, Cox has established a special Fire Victims Assistance Team where dedicated Cox specialists are available to address your needs during this difficult time.

The San Diego Foundation's After-the-Fires Fund 2007 was opened on Sunday, October 21, 2007, to receive donations for making emergency grants to first responders and other nonprofit service organizations engaged in disaster response, recovery and rebuilding.
