Build Peace with Justice Around the World

Prepare yourself to promote peace and justice through innovative learning, interdisciplinary analysis, advanced practice and engaged public policy at the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies (Kroc School). View our master's degree programs or our undergraduate minor programs.

Master's Program

The University of San Diego's (USD) Kroc School offers a Master of Arts in Peacebuilding (1-year program) and a Master of Arts in Peace and Justice Studies (2-year program).  These programs will prepare you to work in an extensive variety of organizations, from start-ups to grassroots organizations, from international nonprofits to government agencies and businesses.

Undergraduate Program

The Kroc School offers a Minor in Peace and Justice Studies, which provides historical and contemporary perspectives on the nature of conflict, the conditions of sustainable development and strategies for achieving social justice.

We also partner with the Center for Peace and Commerce, a collaborative effort between us and USD's School of Business Administration, to prepare new generations of change agents who develop and exercise innovative approaches for achieving the 4 Ps: people, profit, planet, and peace.
