WorldLink/Youth
WorldLink Activities
Working closely with teachers and the community, WorldLink is able to provide a comprehensive educational experience for students. Youth determine topics for many WorldLink activities, ensuring that the issues engage and interest students, as well as challenge them.

A free, annual Youth Town Meeting takes place at the University of San Diego each January. Over 700 students from different high schools in the San Diego and Tijuana region join international leaders to explore challenges facing youth and their communities around the globe. The State Department, United Nations, leading universities, humanitarian organizations and nongovernmental agencies send top-level speakers to participate in the event each year. Student moderators facilitate all breakout and discussion sessions. |

Smaller, specialized Youth Forums, which host international leaders and experts engaging in dialogues with students, are offered throughout the school year. These forums are open to the public, with an emphasis on 6-12th grade students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students. |
