Pat Drinan

Dean, College of Arts & Sciences, University of San Diego

Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at USD since 1989, Pat Drinan, Ph.D,, has been active in grant development and grant administration in areas such as internationalization, cultural diversity, and ethics across the curriculum. His research specialties are Russian/Soviet politics, international relations theory, and academic integrity in higher education. Dean Drinan has served on the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Council of San Diego since the early 1980's and served as its President in the mid-1980's. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Academic Integrity. Dean Drinan has an MA in Foreign Affairs and a Ph.D. in Government.
