International Day of Peace Celebration

The San Diego community and USD students, faculty and staff were invited to celebrate the United Nations International Day of Peace at the IPJ. Local organizations working for peace and social justice provided information on their activities and opportunities for individuals to get involved. Attendees marked this day of non-violence and reconciliation by strolling by the booths, signing up to volunteer or intern, enjoying entertainment, sharing a moment of silence at noon, and learning more about local and global peace and justice issues.
