Event Raises Funds for WorldLink Scholarships

Glorious Journey Photography (GJP), a sponsor of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice’s WorldLink program, held a fundraising event on Oct. 24. The event raised more than $5,000 for WorldLink. The funds will help sponsor youth delegates for WorldLink’s 13th Annual Youth Town Meeting.

GJP sells images by photographer Gloria Garrett to raise money for select nonprofit programs.

IPJ Recognized by Project Concern International

The IPJ was named to Project Concern International’s 2009 Honor Roll on Nov. 7, 2009 in recognition of the institute’s work with women in Africa, particularly through the Women PeaceMakers Program, which has included nine women from Africa in the last seven years.
