“Nepal Border with India”
Camera: DSC-W570 (Sony)
Nepal is a landlocked country between two big giant countries China on the north and India on the other three directions. Since Nepal has high mountains on the north, some mountains, hills and terai land on the east and west, and open land called terai on the south, there are some marked spots and lands that separate Nepal from China and India.
This photograph is taken on an early winter morning. The cemented rounded wall called “Killa” is the representation of border that separates Nepal from India standing on no man’s land. There are several such “Killas” on the border. In the photograph, the right side is Nepal and the left side is India. This kind of open boarder is the reason behind the cause of smuggling, murder, kidnapping, and several other problems in Nepal practiced by the poor people of both countries.
