2 Fronteras: Comparing the Southern Borders of the United States and Spain
On November 30, 2012, the Trans-Border Institute in collaboration with the Ciudadanía Y Valores Fundación released a new report titled, "Dos Fronteras: Comparing the Southern Borders of the United States and Spain." The report provides a comparative analysis of the border regions of San Diego-Tijuana and Spain-Gibraltar, compiling various working papers reporting on the findings of the project, which are centered on three main issues that manifest very visibly in border regions: migration and immigration policy, trade and economic relations, and security measures.
