Ernesto Reyes ’14 and Danielle Farias ’12, interns at the Trans-Border Institute, are revitalizing the Trans-Border News Blog to promote border-related scholarship in the USD community and the San Diego-Tijuana region. Reyes focuses on immigration and security issues while Farias writes on economic development. Consulting Mexican and American news sources allows them to formulate a cohesive understanding of border issues for the blog.
