WorldLink Year-Round Activities
Working closely with teachers and the community, WorldLink is able to provide a comprehensive educational experience for students. Youth determine topics for many WorldLink activities, ensuring that the issues engage and interest students, as well as challenge them.

A free, annual Youth Town Meeting conference takes place at the University of San Diego each January. Over 700 students from different high schools in the San Diego and Tijuana region join international leaders to explore challenges facing youth and their communities around the globe. The State Department, United Nations, leading universities, humanitarian organizations and nongovernmental agencies send top-level speakers to participate in the event each year. Student moderators facilitate all breakout and discussion sessions. |

WorldLink Youth Forums, held in the IPJ Theatre, are offered throughout the year and feature international leaders and experts who engage in dialogue with students. These forums are open to the public, with an emphasis on 6-12th grade students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students. |

Smaller, specialized WorldLink Workshops are held bi-monthly, connecting globally minded youth participants through interactive activities and guest speaker-led discussions. All interested middle and high school students are welcome to attend these Saturday morning workshops at the IPJ. |

WorldLink publishes student-produced newspapers on events, issues and concerns that the youth identify as important for peer education. Guest student writers from schools in San Diego and Baja Mexico contribute to the annual publications. |

High school interns create a WorldLink Reader, a classroom tool that provides youth with the important background knowledge on topics of the WorldLink Youth Town Meeting. |

Several local and active students have initiated WorldLink Clubs at their high school campuses and in their own communities. Through a direct affiliation to the WorldLink Program, these globally minded youth host student meetings, coordinate campus events, design community service prjects and more. |

WorldLink hosts an annual Junior Model United Nations conference for different San Diego schools in May. |
