Following WorldLink's 16th Youth Town Meeting, high school students from San Diego and Baja Mexico contributed to the annual bilingual newspaper. Under the leadership of intern Kira Elliott, a junior at San Dieguito Academy, the 2013 WorldLink newspaper captures the voices of local youth on the topic of media's power and influence.

Partnering with Khmer Ahimsa, an organization led by Woman PeaceMaker Thavory Huot, the IPJ went to Cambodia to work with women involved in politics, including those from remote districts. In the lead-up to the country’s elections later this year, Interim Director Dee Aker and Program Officer Zahra Ismail held trainings to further enhance the participants’ negotiation and strategic communication skills.
