The 2009 – 2010 Joan B. Kroc Distinguished Lecture Series kicks off with a lecture by Dr. Paul Farmer examining the connection between peace and development. Farmer is the founding director of Partners in Health and in 2009 was named chair of the department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard University.
