| Message | USD's Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies will host a panel discussion March 20 on the nongovernmental organization Invisible Children and its Kony 2012 campaign and viral video which have attracted a torrent of attention from both critics and defenders. Come and hear panelists from various fields and backgrounds who will help make sense of the welter of commentary and controversy. Time will be provided for roundtable discussions among attendees. Panelists are: Jennifer Freeman, program officer of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice; Nathan Phillips, USD freshman and Invisible Children supporter; Dustin Sharp, assistant professor in the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies and Nathaniel Dunigan, founder of AidChild in Uganda and USD School of Leadership and Education Sciences doctoral student. |
