Educators Learn About the Holocaust

March 23, 2010 -- More than60 middle school and high school educators gathered at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice for a professional development conference presented by the Anti Defamation League San Diego Regional Office. "The Practice of 'Never Again'" conference introduced the educators to a multi-media curriculum, "Echoes and Reflections," about the Holocaust and featured keynote speaker Stephen Smith, MCR, PhD, D. Law, Executive Director of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education. Over a dozen Holocaust survivors shared their experiences with the participants in lunchtime discussions.
