Nepal Assessment Underway

IPJ Deputy Director Dee Aker will be returning to Nepal from January 4-12 to assess the on-going peace and democratization process and to inform future programs to be offered by the IPJ.   In addition to meeting with political and human rights leaders, Aker will be holding a series of roundtables with civil society, women, and professionals in Kathmandu, and with youth leaders in Janakpur.  The assessment begins the IPJ's tenth year of peacebuilding work in Nepal, supported by grants and individual gifts.
