| Message | Inside USD -- Silence enveloped two large conference rooms at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice as Jenni Prisk delivered Pamela S. Perkins’ poem, The Voices of Women. As she emphasized the word “voices,” her own grew stronger. Applause followed Prisk’s completion of the poem and the feeling of pride among the audience was palpable. Prisk, founder of the Voices of Women organization, was one of many important voices represented at the fifth annual International Women’s Day Celebration breakfast on the USD campus. (Full Story) |
