March 16-18, 2009, Dee Aker, interim executive director, and Emiko Noma, editor, participated in the first International Solidarity Conference on Mindanao, as well as Mindanao Peace Power Day, a direct action campaign by war-affected communities on the island, at the invitation of IPJ Woman PeaceMaker Mary Ann Arnado.
