Gladys Avalos

Work Study Student

Gladys Avalos is a freshman at the University of San Diego with an undeclared major, but planning on majoring in business.  She was born in San Diego but lived in Mexico for a while and graduated high school in Las Vegas. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and, having lived in Mexico, has witnessed the difference in lifestyle in both countries. She understands the importance of border relations as a possible benefit for both countries and is interested in the work of the Tran-Border Institute.
