Elisa Lurkis

Director of Development and Community Relations

Elisa Lurkis is the Director of Development and Community Relations for the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. She is responsible for fundraising, alumni relations and building the profile of the School.

Elisa has close to 10 years of experience as a professional fundraiser and grant writer. Prior to joining USD, Elisa worked as the Director of Development for the University of California's Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation. She has also held fundraising positions at the San Diego Museum of Man, the University of New Mexico and High Tech High. She has a B.A. in French Literature from UC Santa Cruz and an MA in English from San Diego State University.
