As a condition of publication, authors publishing in JPD must vest copyright in their articles, including abstracts, in JPD. This enables us to ensure the widest possible readership in print and electronic formats, while maintaining full copyright protection. Authors may use their article elsewhere after publication without prior permission from the Journal of Peacebuilding and Development, provided that acknowledgement is given to the Journal as the original source of publication, and that JPD is notified and provided with a copy of the new publication.
Visiting Editors and Partners
If you would like to participate as a visiting editor, or your organisation would like to partner with JPD in producing a special issue on a critical theme of peacebuilding and development, please write to the Executive Editors. JPD will produce special issues periodically, in partnership with another organisation specialising in the topic area. Visiting editors may be invited or accepted on particular themes with or without an accompanying organisation.
